Items that would otherwise be thrown out and eventually find their way to the landfill were collected for the duration of the fabrication of this headdress. Anything from my consumption that could potentially be repurposed was collected; materials included orange peels, banana peels, beard nets, plexi glass scraps, yarn, a wood pallet, an old sunhat, plastic cups, paper coffee cups, miniature doll hands, candy wrappers, and aluminum foil.
